You have your dress! What now?
We are so unbelievably stoked and thankful that you found your dream gown with us. If you purchased a standard size, it will be made and shipped out or picked up one month from your order date.
For our made-to-measure brides, here’s what you need to know about the 5-month process:
There will be 2-3 appointments that need to be scheduled. The first must be booked 6-8 weeks before your wedding. This will be for a remeasure, ensuring that all initial measurements are still accurate and that the pieces that have been cut can be put together (or adjusted if there are any significant changes). If you cannot come to our Torrance showroom, we can walk you through how to measure through a virtual appointment correctly.
Your next appointment should be booked 3-5 weeks before your wedding date, a Tuesday-Friday. This is an exciting one! You will put your made-to-measure gown on and feel the feeling of wearing your dream dress. Your dress may be perfect or close to perfect. For brides who want to take their dress to a local tailor, we will package everything up, and you will be on your way! If you choose to use our alterations service, our seamstresses will need 1-2 fitting appointments to ensure everything is perfect.
We require that you bring your wedding shoes to your remeasure appointment. If your remeasure appointment is virtual, we will need the heel height of your wedding shoes at this time. This allows us to accurately measure and hem so you can walk down the aisle and dance the night away with your honey! If you plan on wearing undergarments with your dress, we recommend wearing them at your remeasure appointment.
