Let us know! We will get your measurements and your order on its way.

Once you order your dresses, we will be in contact with a delivery day! We ship out as soon as the entirety of your order can be fulfilled, so depending on our current queue, you will receive your shipment 8-21 days after placing your order. After confirming your delivery and arrival day, we will get your package boxed up, sent out, and on its way! You will then have three (3) days from your sample arrival date to *safely* prance around your living room before you send them back (with a prepaid label, of course).

Some tidbits and tips:
  • The most common confusion in the Home Try-On process is sizing–we get it! Just like in our studio, the dress(es) you receive will be sample sizes. While we ask for size requests from you, we can’t guarantee they will be available. In those cases, we will always send 1-2 sizes larger than you requested, and clips will be there to make it fit as perfectly.
  • To make your experience as close to the studio as possible, you can set up a virtual appointment before, during, or after your dress try-on. We will help you clip, measure, and ensure you and your gals pop the champagne when you say “YES!”
  • A prepaid return label, measuring tape, dress clips, and an “I Said Yes” sign will be included in your box! We just ask that you return it all exactly as it came.
Cost Breakdown and Shipping Information:

The cost for the USA is $50 per dress, Canada is $115 per dress, and Europe is $165 per dress. A temporary hold (50% of the cost of each dress) will be placed on your credit card until we receive the dresses back at our Torrance studio.

We will cover the cost of standard shipping in the continental U.S. Need it expedited? Shoot us an email with what you’re looking for, where you live, and when you need the samples, and we will send you a quote for the dresses and shipping.

If you live in Hawaii or Alaska, there will be an additional $80 charge for shipping. UPS charges us an additional fee, so unfortunately, we have to charge you.

COMMON HOME TRY-ON QUESTIONS

I ordered the dress with ivory liner, but a dress with nude liner was sent to me
Unfortunately we do not have every sample size in ever color combination available to send. We do send out swatch cards with the sample to show what the color would look like. If you are only interested in a particular color combo, please state in your order notes that if that size/color combo is not available, then do not send.
Can the dresses be delivered on an exact date?
While we would LOVE to make this happen for you, it is out of our control when using UPS Ground shipping. Guaranteed dates, however, are possible if you opt for expedited shipping. Expedited shipping is shipped either 2nd day or overnight. The cost of this is approximately an additional $100. We determine the final amount after inputting your exact address to get a shipping quote from UPS. Contact us and let us know your intent to upgrade.
I requested a size 4, but a size 8 was sent, can you send another?
Wedding dresses run differently than regular street sizing. Because of this, we request your body measurements (bust, waist, and hips). We use the measurements you provide us to determine the sample size to send. If you order a size 4, but your numbers align with our size 8, we will send the size 8 to you. It is seldom that a sample dress will fit perfectly. Please use the clamps provided to give you a general idea of the fit. If you like the dress and order it, a dress can be custom-made to your actual measurements.
IN ADDITION TO THE $50 LOAN FEE PER DRESS, THERE IS ANOTHER CHARGE. WHAT IS THIS?
The amount in question is a temporary hold. It is a hold for 50% of the cost of each dress requested as a home try-on. We remove the amount held once we receive the dresses back in the original condition sent. If you are trying a sample that costs $2,000, you will see a hold of $1,000 on your credit card.
COULD I HAVE FEDEX/UPS REDIRECT OR HOLD THE PACKAGE?
Redirects and holds are not allowed. Clients should not schedule any holds/redirects/delays with the shipping carrier. Each day the package has been held/delayed/redirected, this accrues as a daily late rate of $50 per day. On the fifth day, if we do not receive the dress, the total price of the dress is charged.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I KEEP THE DRESS OVER 48 HOURS?
We would love to have you keep the dress as long as possible. We are a small company and have many brides using our home try-on to say YES to their dress. We only have enough samples to allow a 48-hour try-on. If you keep the dress above the 48-hour window, we charge $50 per day.
I RECEIVED THE DRESS, AND WHILE IT IS BEAUTIFUL, IT IS NOT FOR ME. WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?

We wish you could have found ‘the-one’ with us. Send the dress back as outlined in our policy. Once we receive the dress back in the original condition we sent it to you, we will remove the temporary hold placed on your card. The $50 per dress loan fee initially paid is non-refundable.

Return Policy

Unfortunately, as all of our items are made-to-measure and made-to-order, we do not accept returns. We take pride in our work, and triple check and inspect all items prior to shipping. In the unlikely event, there is a defective item shipped to you, we will repair this for you.

For your convenience, we offer in-person fittings in our Torrance, CA studio by appointment. We also offer a loan-me program, which allows you to try the dress in the comfort of your own home, prior to committing. Additionally, we can send fabric swatches out to you as per your request.

In the event of unforeseen events, cancellations can be done within 48 hours of the order being placed. After 48 hours have passed, cancellations will not be accepted, as your order would have already been processed.

Terms and Conditions

This agreement serves as a confirmation of your Dreamers & Lovers item, which is made to order. Please review the following order agreement form as your final order confirmation. All made-to-order items are final sale once the order has been placed into production. If you wish to cancel for any reason, there is a 24-hour grace period between your order and the commencement of production. Once your order has been put into production, no changes can be made. Once the 24-hour grace period has passed, the order is considered a final sale. Shipping, Returns & After-Sales FAQ

YOUR TURNAROUND TIME FOR CUSTOM SIZE IS 5 MONTHS, BUT I NEED THE DRESS SOONER, CAN YOU ACCOMMODATE?
We do offer a RUSH service. There are three options that can be added to your order by selecting Rush Orders from the website’s footer section. The Regular-Rush ships in 4 months for a $199 fee. The Mega-Rush ships in 2 1/2 months for a $349 fee. The Ultra-Rush ships in 1 1/2 months for $499.

The rush service applies only to our custom, made-to-measure dresses. Standard-sized dresses can be shipped in one month.

CAN I RETURN MY DRESS ONCE I RECEIVE IT?
Unfortunately, we make our dresses after we receive your order. Based on the exclusivity of our work, we do not accept returns. We have a home try-on that will eliminate the risks of ordering a dress online.
I PLACED AN ORDER AND NOW I NEED TO CANCEL?
We accept cancellations up to 24 hours after you have placed your order.
I PURCHASED MY DRESS IN YOUR SHOP, WHAT IS THE NEXT STEP?

After putting in your deposit and taking your measurements, you will do a remeasure and pick up your made-to-measure dress. See the full details here.

I RECEIVE MY DRESS, AND I LOVE IT, BUT I NEED AN ALTERATION DONE?

Some made-to-measure dresses will still require minor alterations. Alterations are typical to get the perfect fit, and usually easy to work on. The great news is the dress is made with alterations in mind. An experienced seamstress or tailor will be able to perfect your dress with ease.

ARE YOUR DRESSES SHIPPED WORLDWIDE?
Yes, Dreamers & Lovers ships worldwide. We have many happy international brides. International orders are shipped via FedEx, and we provide a tracking number.
HOW DO I ORDER A DREAMERS & LOVERS DRESS?
If purchasing online, you can purchase your dress directly on our website. Visit the product page, choose the color, size, and add-to-cart. Once your order comes through, we will verify all is correct and then reach out to you for any follow-up.
If purchasing through one of our showrooms, you will purchase directly and have your current measurements taken by one of our stylists.
MY DREAMERS & LOVERS DRESS NEEDS AN ALTERATION, CAN YOU HELP?

The perfect fit is vital when it comes to your gown. Whether you choose a made-to-measure or a standard size, minor alterations are a normal part of the process. The excellent news is that the alterations will be minimal if you choose to have the dress made to your measurements.

HOW DO I TAKE MY MEASUREMENT?
After placing your order, we will send you a list of the measurements we need to create your dress if you’ve ordered a made-to-measure gown. We will also send you a detailed measuring guide to help you. We recommend getting your measurements professionally done. If you are located in a remote area and have no access to a tailor, our team can assist you virtually.

ARE YOUR DRESSES AVAILABLE IN OTHER BRIDAL SHOPS?

Dreamers & Lovers is offered through dreamersandlovers.com, our two California showrooms, and in select international bridal shops.

DO YOU OFFER CUSTOMIZATIONS OR TWEAKS?
We offer minor tweaks to our dresses, such as changes in sleeves and train length. Unfortunately, we do not offer complete custom designs, as we have a demanding workload with our own designs.
I'M READY TO SAY YES TO A DREAMERS & LOVERS DRESS, HOW SOON SHOULD I ORDER?
Once you know, we recommend placing your order. We need 5-6 months for a custom, made-to-measure dress.

Ordering your dress early protects your order from price increases and design changes. You will have time to send updated measurements before your wedding dress is finalized.

WHAT IF I GAIN/LOSE WEIGHT AFTER ORDERING MY DRESS?
Not to worry. We highly recommend you providing us your updated measurements before your dress is scheduled to be ready. We will update your dress, before sending the final dress.

WHAT IS MADE-TO-MEASURE?

Dreamers & Lovers is obsessed with FIT. When you order a made-to-measure dress, we use about 15 of your unique measurement to craft the dress to fit your body. This is custom-made for you, made to fit you from scratch. The dress is created specifically for you from beginning to end.

Our made-to-measure is complimentary but has longer turnaround times.

WHAT IS A STANDARD SIZED DRESS?
A standard sized dress is made to our standard sizing on our chart. If your measurements align with a size 8, you would confidently order a size 8. Great news, we do offer custom sleeve-length and dress-length for you if you need it. These two customizations does not affect the one month turnaround time.

I'M PLANNING TO ORDER A STANDARD SIZE, BUT I'M BETWEEN TWO SIZES?

If you are ordering a standard-size dress in between two sizes, we recommend ordering the larger one. It’s easier to alter a dress down than to let it out. Sometimes, if a dress is too small, you may be unable to alter it.

CAN YOU SEND ME A SAMPLE TO TRY ON?

Sure thing, more than 50% of our brides are finding us and buying online after using our home try-on service. Home try-on is genius because we are a small company, and brides love it.
