When the creator herself chooses your additional option, magic happens.

Found “the one”? We’ll handcraft your dress in our California studio with personalized touches. Ready in 12-14 weeks.
Transform your living room into the most intimate bridal salon. Our exclusive Home Try-On brings your dream dress selection directly to you, where you can say “yes” surrounded by the people who matter most.
Once you order your dresses, we’ll be in contact with a delivery day! Dresses ship within 8-21 days after placing your order. After confirming your delivery and arrival day, your carefully packaged dresses arrive ready for your exclusive 2-day try-on experience.
Fell in love and found the one? Let us know! Full credit ($65, $130, or $195) is applied toward your dress purchase when you find “the one.” We’ll handcraft your dress with custom sleeve length, dress length, and bustle addition – all included in your investment.
Some tidbits and tips:
- The most common confusion in the Home Try-On process is sizing–we get it! Just like in our studio, the dress(es) you receive will be sample sizes. While we ask for size requests from you, we can’t guarantee they will be available. In those cases, we will always send 1-2 sizes larger than you requested, and clips will be there to make it fit as perfectly.
- To make your experience as close to the studio as possible, you can set up a virtual appointment before, during, or after your dress try-on. We will help you clip, measure, and ensure you and your gals pop the champagne when you say “YES!”
- A prepaid return label, measuring tape, dress clips, and an “I Said Yes” sign will be included in your box! We just ask that you return it all exactly as it came.
Cost Breakdown and Shipping Information:
USA: $65 per dress try-on fee (covers up to 4 dresses including our designer’s personal selection)
Canada/Europe:$165 per dress try-on fee (covers up to 4 dresses including our designer’s personal selection)
Temporary hold: $500-$1000 (released upon return)
Temporary hold breakdown: $500 for 1 dress, $750 for 2 dresses, $1000 for 3 dresses.
We cover the cost of standard shipping in the continental U.S. Need it expedited? Shoot us an email with what you’re looking for, where you live, and when you need the samples, and we will send you a quote for the dresses and shipping.
If you live in Hawaii or Alaska, there will be an additional $80 charge for shipping. UPS charges us an additional fee, so unfortunately, we have to charge you.
COMMON HOME TRY-ON QUESTIONS
Your Loan-me service is genius, can you tell me more?
I ordered the dress with ivory liner, but a dress with nude liner was sent to me
Can the dresses be delivered on an exact date?
I requested a size 4, but a size 8 was sent, can you send another?
Will I be refunded the home try-on fee if I purchase the dress?
IN ADDITION TO THE $65 LOAN FEE PER DRESS, THERE IS ANOTHER CHARGE. WHAT IS THIS?
The amount in question is a temporary hold. If trying 1 dress, there is a $500 hold. If trying 2 dresses, there is a $750 hold. If trying 3 dresses, there is a $1000 hold. If trying 4 dresses, there is a $1500 hold. We remove the amount held once we receive the dresses back in the original condition sent. If you are trying one sample, you will see a hold of $500 on your credit card.
COULD I HAVE FEDEX/UPS REDIRECT OR HOLD THE PACKAGE?
WHAT HAPPENS IF I KEEP THE DRESS OVER 48 HOURS?
We would love to have you keep the dress(es) as long as possible. We are a small company and have many brides using our home try-on to say YES to their dress. We only have enough samples to allow a 48-hour try-on. If you keep the dress above the 48-hour window, we charge $65 per dress, per day. If the dress is late past 5 days, we charge for the full price of the dress (es).
I RECEIVED THE DRESS, AND WHILE IT IS BEAUTIFUL, IT IS NOT FOR ME. WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?
We wish you could have found ‘the-one’ with us. Send the dress back as outlined in our policy. Once we receive the dress back in the original condition we sent it to you, we will remove the temporary hold placed on your card. The $65 per dress loan fee initially paid is non-refundable.
WILL I GET THE HOME TRY-ON CREDIT ON SAMPLE SALE DRESSES?
Return Policy
Because every Dreamers & Lovers gown is handcrafted to order, we’re unable to accept returns once production has begun. Each dress is lovingly made in our California atelier, and every piece is carefully inspected before it leaves our hands.
In the rare event that a gown arrives with a defect, we will happily repair it for you.
To help you feel confident in your choice, we offer:
- In-person fittings at our Torrance, CA studio (by appointment)
- A Home try-on program, allowing you to try on gowns in the comfort of your home
- Fabric swatches available upon request
If your plans change, you may cancel within 48 hours of placing your order. After this period, cancellations are not possible as production will already be underway.

Terms and Conditions
This agreement serves as a confirmation of your Dreamers & Lovers item, which is made to order. Please review the following order agreement form as your final order confirmation. All made-to-order items are final sale once the order has been placed into production. If you wish to cancel for any reason, there is a 24-hour grace period between your order and the commencement of production. No changes can be made once your order has been put into production. The order is considered a final sale once the 24-hour grace period has passed. If you placed this order mistakenly or need to cancel within 24 hours of the order’s being placed, please contact [email protected] or call (424) 448-2161.
SAMPLE SALE DRESSES
All sample sale dresses are sold as-is and are non-refundable. If you opt to try on a sample sale dress using our home try-on service, please note that the home try-on credit does not apply.
HOME TRY-ON
Home Try-on fees are non-refundable. You can cancel a home try-on order before it is shipped. We offer a complimentary home try-on fee credit if you order one of the dresses within four weeks of receiving the sample. Full information can be found under the home try-on FAQ.

YOUR TURNAROUND TIME IS 12-14 WEEKS, BUT I NEED THE DRESS SOONER, CAN YOU ACCOMMODATE?
We do offer a RUSH service, based on our current availability. Your dress can be shipped as early as 2-weeks. Contact us for availability.
CAN I RETURN MY DRESS ONCE I RECEIVE IT?
Unfortunately, we make our dresses after we receive your order. Based on the exclusivity of our work, we do not accept returns. We have a home try-on that will eliminate the risks of ordering a dress online.
I PLACED AN ORDER AND NOW I NEED TO CANCEL?
I PURCHASED MY DRESS IN YOUR SHOP, WHAT IS THE NEXT STEP?
After putting in your deposit, we will take measurements to help you choose the best standard size. Your dress will be made our local California seamstress team, and will be ready in 12-14 weeks. We will offer free dress-length and sleeve-length measurements.
I RECEIVE MY DRESS, AND I LOVE IT, BUT I NEED AN ALTERATION DONE?
Some standard-sized dresses will require minor alterations. Alterations are typical to get the perfect fit, and usually easy to work on. The great news is the dress is made with alterations in mind. An experienced seamstress or tailor will be able to perfect your dress with ease.

If purchasing through one of our showrooms, you will purchase directly and have your current measurements taken by one of our stylists.
MY DREAMERS & LOVERS DRESS NEEDS AN ALTERATION, CAN YOU HELP?
The perfect fit is vital when it comes to your gown. Minor alterations are a normal part of the process when purchasing a standard size. The excellent news is that the alterations will be minimal if you accept our free sleeve-length and dress-length customization.
HOW DO I TAKE MY MEASUREMENT?
We advise you to view our size chart to help you rith choosing the best size for you. We recommend getting your measurements professionally done. If you are located in a remote area and have no access to a tailor, our team can assist you virtually.

DO YOU OFFER CUSTOMIZATIONS OR TWEAKS?
We do not offer tweaks to our dresses, but we do offer free customization for the sleeve and dress length.
I'M READY TO SAY YES TO A DREAMERS & LOVERS DRESS, HOW SOON SHOULD I ORDER?
Once you know, we recommend placing your order. Some laces will be phased out, so order them as soon as you know it is the one.
Ordering your dress early protects your order from price increases and design changes.
WHAT IF I GAIN/LOSE WEIGHT AFTER ORDERING MY DRESS?
Not to worry. Our dresses can easily be altered by a good seamstress.

WHAT IS A STANDARD SIZED DRESS?
A standard sized dress is made to our standard sizing on our chart. If your measurements align with a size 8, you would confidently order a size 8. Great news, we do offer custom sleeve-length and dress-length for you if you need it. These two customizations does not affect the 12-14 weeks turnaround time.

I'M PLANNING TO ORDER A STANDARD SIZE, BUT I'M BETWEEN TWO SIZES?
If you are ordering a standard-size dress in between two sizes, we recommend ordering the larger one. It’s easier to alter a dress down than to let it out. Sometimes, if a dress is too small, you may be unable to alter it.
CAN YOU SEND ME A SAMPLE TO TRY ON?
Sure thing, more than 50% of our brides are finding us and buying online after using our home try-on service. Home try-on is genius because we are a small company, and brides love it. You can try up to three dresses at home. Home try-on info can be found further up on this page; the information page.
