 IN-STORE PURCHASES:

Brides purchasing in one of our shops have the option to purchase either a standard or made-to-measure dress. The turnaround is 1 month for standard, and 5 months for made-to-measure.

This is the Dreamers & Lovers sizing chart. This chart is helpful when:

• selecting a home try-on wedding dress
• purchasing a standard-sized wedding dress

It is usual for wedding dress sizes to be different than the sizing of off-the-rack clothing you usually wear. The numbers on the tag are less important than the fit. The FIT matters.

If you are ordering a standard-sized dress and fall between two sizes, we recommend ordering the larger size. This is especially true when ordering a fitted dress. If you need help figuring this out, call us at 424-448-2161 or email us at [email protected].

If you are ordering your made-to-measure wedding dress, this size chart is irrelevant because we will make it to fit YOUR body measurements.

Where are your dresses made?
Every Dreamers & Lovers dress is proudly designed, cut, and sewn in our California design studio.

Do I need a bra for my dress?
Our backless dresses have bra cups sewn in, so a bra is not required. Woohoo!

What if I lose/gain weight?
Not to worry. Please provide us with your updated measurements a month before your dress ships. We will make any changes to your dress before sending your made-to-measure dress out to you.

Do you offer customizations/tweaks?
We offer minor tweaks to our dresses, such as sleeves and train length changes. Unfortunately, we only provide complete custom designs, as we have a demanding workload with our designs.

Is the dress see-through?
No, our dresses are all lined. We use the nude color on some samples; that is the color. The dress is not sheer.

What is made-to-measure?
Dreamers & Lovers is obsessed with FIT. When you order a made-to-measure dress, we use about 15 of your unique measurements to craft the dress to fit your body. Your dress is custom-made for you, made to fit you from scratch. The dress is created specifically for you from beginning to end.

What is the standard size?
A standard-sized dress is made to our standard sizing on our chart. If your measurements align with a size 8, you would order a size 8.

Is the price of made-to-measure and standard-size the same?
No, it is not. There are two prices shown for each product. The lesser of the two is for standard size.

Can you send me a sample to try on?
Sure thing, more than 50% of our brides are finding us and buying online after using our home try-on service. Home try-on is genius because we are a small company, and brides love it. You can try up to three dresses at home.

Here are the ones we’ll need to create your dream dress:

– under-bust
– shoulder to apex
– shoulder to under-bust

– shoulder to waist (measured at front)
– bicep
– high hips
– low hips (measured over bum; at widest part)
– height
– length from high point of shoulder to floor ( measured at the front, following the curve of your bust)
– will you be wearing a heel?

Expected Shipping Date:

Once shipped, domestic orders usually arrive on your doorstep in 4-5 business days via UPS Ground. International orders usually arrive on your doorstep in 6-10 business days via FedEx.

Shipping Info:

D&L ships worldwide.

• Domestic USPS Priority Shipping has a flat rate of $35.
• International orders are shipped via FedEx Express with a flat rate of $75.

Return Info:

Our dresses, whether standard-sized or made-to-measure, are not made until we receive your order.  As a result, there are no refunds.

We do have an excellent home-try-on service which is an absolute convenience.

Shoes can be returned for a refund. To return an eligible item, send us an email at [email protected]. Refunds will be issued less the original shipping costs in the same way you paid. All items must be unused and unworn.
