IN-STORE PURCHASES:
Brides purchasing in one of our shops have the option to purchase either a standard or made-to-measure dress. The turnaround is 1.5 month for standard, and 5 months for made-to-measure.

Where are your dresses made?
Every Dreamers & Lovers dress is proudly designed, cut, and sewn in our California design studio.
Do I need a bra for my dress?
Our backless dresses have bra cups sewn in, so a bra is not required. Woohoo!
What if I lose/gain weight?
Not to worry. Please provide us with your updated measurements a month before your dress ships. We will make any changes to your dress before sending your made-to-measure dress out to you.
Do you offer customizations/tweaks?
We offer minor tweaks to our dresses, such as sleeves and train length changes. Unfortunately, we only provide complete custom designs, as we have a demanding workload with our designs.
Is the dress see-through?
No, our dresses are all lined. We use the nude color on some samples; that is the color. The dress is not sheer.
What is made-to-measure?
Dreamers & Lovers is obsessed with FIT. When you order a made-to-measure dress, we use about 15 of your unique measurements to craft the dress to fit your body. Your dress is custom-made for you, made to fit you from scratch. The dress is created specifically for you from beginning to end.
What is the standard size?
A standard-sized dress is made to our standard sizing on our chart. If your measurements align with a size 8, you would order a size 8.
Is the price of made-to-measure and standard-size the same?
Yes, it is. The difference is in turnaround time. Standard-size dresses have a shorter ETA.

Sure thing, more than 50% of our brides are finding us and buying online after using our home try-on service. Home try-on is genius because we are a small company, and brides love it. You can try up to three dresses at home.

The Kristen stretch long sleeve lace wedding dress is the perfect balance of classic styling, elegance, comfort and sex appeal. Upon first glance of the front, the dress with its slight high neck lace outer, and long sleeves, appears slightly modest; but the wide-open keyhole styled back and the feminine sweetheart shaped lining will defy any initial thoughts of modesty.
Boho brides opting for a hint of tradition without the poufy ball gown look, will love the Kristen for their bohemian wedding. Even with its gorgeous long train, it’s perfect for a nontraditional wedding.
One of our favorite feature of this dress is the princess seams, at both the front and back of the dress. These princess seams is a dressmaker’s secret weapon to give the wearer the best possible fit. They often go unnoticed, but they are crucial for a flattering fit.
Kristen is a spin off of our iconic cap sleeve Alice dress . The main differences of the Kristen dress are the sheer lace long sleeves and the stretch lace. The stretch lace means you will be super comfortable on your wedding day. Kristen would be custom made using your measurements. This custom fit makes it likely that no alterations will be needed after the dress has been made for you.
The Kristen bohemian wedding dress is offered in one lace color option, and several liner color options. The lace is offered in off-white, but there are plenty of liner color choices to choose from. Many of our brides love the taupe, nude-colored liner. For brides who prefer a more subtle finish, either the ivory or the off-white colored liner is an amazing choice.
Kristen features long fitted sleeves. The illusion sleeves are unlined. The diamond cutout back is ultra sexy. The cathedral length train is stunning and best left unbustled during the ceremony. The dress will have hooks for bustling after the ceremony.
The overlay is crafted entirely of lightweight stretch lace, allowing you to move and dance freely all day. The lining is a stretch satin fabric, and is soft and comfortable.
The high cut neck of the lace is balanced by the sexy sweetheart cut bodice. Brides love how the skin peeps through the lace of the long sleeves and décolletage providing balance and interest within the simplicity while built in cups provide confidence and support.
Princess seams run from the bust to the hem, gently tracing the feminine curves before opening out into a full-length skirt. The silhouette is incredibly commanding.
Fine lace scalloping along all the edges is a subtle detail, which finishes this already elegant number off with feminine grace.
The simplicity of Kristen’s lines make for a breathtaking overall effect, you’ll feel like royalty without being at all overdressed.
